Field Day Night – Now for Free!

If you’re a bit hard up after two bank holidays on the bounce but still fancy a bit of a knees up, then we’d suggest you head over to XOYO tomorrow for field day night, which they are now offering for free!

The Field Day festival, which takes place on the 6th August and features a killer line up such as Carl Craig, Erol Alkan, James Blake, Kieran Hebden B2B with James Holden and Mount Kimbe, is now in its 5th year, and has cemented itself as one of the leading festivals in London when it comes to electronic music that’s a bit more underground and eclectic.

To help get the ball rolling and to celebrate the launch of the brand new Field Day webzine XOYO will be hosting another Field Day Night tomorrow,  and they’ve landed the legendary Detroit producer and DJ Omar S of FHXE music to headline proceedings. He’ll be flying over exclusively for this show. In 2009 Resident Advisor named his Fabric mix their compilation of the year (made up of all his own tracks!) so if you haven’t heard him yet then come and check him out on XOYO’s new 8-way sound system. Also on the bill is rising star Midland who recorded Your Words Matter with Pearson Sound, the Play The Game E.P for Phonica and has remixed Caribou and 2 Bears. They are joined by Field Day/Bleed/Bloggers Delight man Casper C, Skull Juice’s Benedict Bull, Huntleys & Palmer’s and Secret Danger Society.
www.fielddayfestivals.com will be launching next week, with an exclusive recording from this Saturday’s party at XOYO along with a photo gallery from
the night. For you and your friends to get in simply turn up on the night!

Free entry all night. 10pm-3am.
