Bedrock 12 at Brixton Academy.

John Digweed’s legendary Bedrock has been shaping dance music for an amazing 12 years now, bringing us some of the finest releases ever produced, and they’re going to be celebrating their 12th Birthday in style. With an amazing show at the 02 Academy Brixton, featuring John Digweed and very special guest Carl Cox in an all-out visual and audio experience. The 2 heavyweights will be going head to head in the main arena in celebration of the best in underground house and techno.

Alongside the party, is the Bedrock 12 mix, as celebratory collection of 21 unreleased tracks compiled by Mr Digweed himself, which is available as a double CD or digital download. Its official release date is the 4/4/10, however you can get your ears around a mini mix showcasing the new album on mixcloud.

As if that line-up wasn’t mouth-watering enough, the foyer is being hosted by Intec Digital. A re-working of the big-man’s original Intec label that delivered some of the finest techno cuts. Intec Digital will be presenting a label showcase, with Marco Bailey headlining, alongside support from Jim Rivers, Adam Sheriden and Jon Rundell.

With a line-up this appealing it’s no wonder that tickets are going in a flash. Brixton academy is one of the finest venues in the city, and after Digweed and Cox rammed out a 5000 capacity arena at this year’s SW4, this is definitely looking like a roadblock.
