Toolroom Knights proudly announces its plans to celebrate their 6th birthday in typically explosive fashion – marking the occasion with 6 events across the UK’s hottest clubs.
Spearheaded by British DJ and producer Mark Knight – Toolroom Knights is one of the most globally acclaimed event brands. Achieved through dedication, a sharp-eye for talent and masterminding one of the best underground house music brands on the planet, Toolroom Knights holds residencies in every major continent across the globe. From Miami to Moscow, Las Vegas to London and more, the brand continues to deliver the best house music, most recently with a storming, summer-long residency at Space Ibiza that concludes on October 3rd. No sooner after the dust settles on another successful year on the Balearic Isle, Toolroom Knights triumphantly returns to the UK to immediately kick off their nationwide 6th birthday tour on Friday 5th October.
In October 2011, the powerhouse brand unleashed a monstrous party at the Brixton Academy, which saw Toolroom fans from across the country descend upon the landmark venue for a sell-out all-nighter. To show their thanks and loyalty for your continued support, Toolroom are bringing their exceptional club night direct to the fans and giving something back, with all events starting off at just £6 advance entry and featuring Mark Knight playing all night long.
The tour takes place across 2 weeks in October, kicking off on Friday 5th at Newcastle’s coolest haunt Digital. Next up we venture south to Toolroom’s spiritual home & the world’s original super-club Ministry of Sound in London, the flagship venue for the birth date of the brand on Saturday the 6th. Mark Knight & Friendly Fires (DJ Set) headline the infamous Box with support coming from Crazy P Soundsystem, Lovebirds and the Toolroom resident DJs Pete Griffiths, Mark Storie and George Andrews in 103. Then it’s back on the road to the newly opened Castle Clvb in Edinburgh on Wednesday 10th before hitting ultra-cool Sound Control Manchester on Thursday 11th. We return to our Irish residency, Yello @ Mynt, Belfast on Friday 12th & rounding off the tour at The Kitchen, Dublin on Saturday 13th October, all of which will see Mark showcasing his favourite kind of DJ set – an extended one.
