That’s right. Forget the Wellingtons and get out the sunscreen. Offshore is a festival lover’s paradise offering the best in live music and comedy with an unbelievable degree of luxury. Taking place on one of the best cruise ships in the world, Norwegian Jade, Offshore allows you to see a host of different amazing gigs, outdoors (and indoors), every night. With 18 bands, 12 comedians, world class DJs and dance artists, five venues and five bars, Offshore is being staged over seven days under the blue skies of the Mediterranean, complete with all the luxuries one would expect on a cruise liner, and with just 2,500 on board, not only is there plenty of space to move around, but each performance offers an intimate experience..
It doesn’t take place until Sept 2013, and as yet we have no idea on the line-up, but with the summer still looking glum here for weeks to come we have to say it sounds pretty good to us!
