Warehouse London to reopen its doors.

Following a massive refurbishment, Warehouse in London will reopen its doors on Saturday 25th August 2012.

In recent years club closures have meant that London’s electronic music scene has been in constant flux: events have shifted from club spaces to off-radar, unannounced venues. As many clubbers would attest, TBA venues can be great, but just as often they mean bad sound, poor organisation and an overall sub standard experience. The Warehouse aims to change all that. With a stripped back charm and a focus on state of the art light and sound, the club offers a much needed and exciting alternative to the over saturated East London rave scene.

Headlining the open weekend’s proceedings is a secret guest of the highest calibre: a US DJ and producer whose soul infused sets have set the tone for underground electronic music everywhere from DC-10 to Watergate in Berlin. With international starts the likes of DJ Sneak, Lee Foss, MK, ATFC, Danny Daze and Copyright also confirmed in the opening months, the Warehouse re-opening clearly outlines the club’s aims.

As the name would suggest, Warehouse will offer the raw vibe of an industrial space but with none of the draw backs. The sound will be provided by a flagship install from Funktion One and Full Fat Audio. According to Full Fat Audio’s founder, Dave Millard, the Warehouse’s new system “will rival any dance club installation in the UK.” What’s more an intimate third room has been added with another bar to provide a setting for more experimental and esoteric sounds.
