DJ Aid helps Rethink Mental Illness

DJAID (dee-jayed) on Saturday 10th March is a charity event to raise money for Rethink Mental Illness. The idea to raise money through a DJ night came from Katy Lucas, who having been a promoter and DJ’d in London for the past few years, wanted to combine this passion with her other main interest; mental health. Rethink Mental Illness is a charity that aims to improve the lives of the millions of people affected by mental illness and help those suffering to live independently and realise they are not alone.

The DJ’s are a collective of like minded people from different promotions such as Get Diverted, Shush Party, Avalanche and Electric Parade and have all offered their services for free. The tech and deep house night will be held at The Cornershop in Shoreditch and an admission of £10 charitable donation is payable on the door.
