Set in the arts and cultural hub of East London, longstanding pioneers Strongroom are launching global lifestyle radio station ‘Strongroom Alive’ due to hit the airwaves February 2012.
With over 25 years of industry loyalty, the station will host music led shows from some of the local leading record labels, magazines, galleries, shops and promoters – featuring an up front fusion of established and breaking bands as well as the best of British leftfield and electronic music.
For 28 days Strongroom Alive will be available on FM and on Freeview, and longer-term via the Internet and mobile apps. Flagship shows will be between 7pm and 9pm from the likes of Vice Magazine, Clash Magazine, WANG, Ninja Tune, Moshi Moshi, Secret Sundaze, Mulletover, 1234 Festival, The Stool Pigeon and Pure Evil Gallery.
Strongroom Alive will become a major voice not just for the area, but also for creative communities around the world.
