Hello party people! Soz for the blog not being quite so indepth today, and errrr a little on the late side (better late than never non?) I do have a good reason though! Firstly spent all yesterday day/eve (*cough* getting rather worse for wear) at THE most amazing afterparty on Koh Phangan island in Thailand – venue is called Back Yard and the after party happens after every Full Moon party the morning after. Music is AMAZING – proper techy stuff none of that crap you hear at the full moon party and none of the dickheads either – crowd was fantastic – super friendly!!! Whole party is up a mountain over looking the beach and the sea.. I can’t recommend enough if you are in this part of the world at all.
On top of this we’ve also been moving into our new house up in the hills today…! (that was fun after yesterday) So far we have had 2 kittens follow us in, so that involved lots of playing for hours (it turned out they belonged to a neighbour unfortunately), then a dog came to say hello and THEN this evening this little fella turned up on the doorstep! He’s been causing havoc ever since! We’re 99.9% sure he’s a stray so will defo be staying at weasel towers! As you can see he decided I wasn’t allowed to do anything other than play with him so sat on the laptop in protest!
So far we have discovered he likes carrier bags, feet and listening to Seth Troxler. We think we’re gonna call him scrabble, yoda or possibly Kevin after Kevin the Fruitbat from that Rowntrees fruit pastilles ad all those years ago, as he looks a bit like him (remember that? or am I being old?!!) but feel free to send in any name suggestions! 2020 VISION: 2020 Vision have their next party on Bank holiday Sunday. The daytime portion of 2020 Vision’s 20-hour bash will feature sets from label boss Ralph Lawson and Steve Bug, head of Berlin’s Poker Flat imprint (and the man behind this week’s RA Podcast). Local artists jozif and Danny Raper will man the decks as well. By the time the party finishes at 10:00, a 12-hour warehouse party will have already begun over at Village Underground. That one features Ewan Pearson, Maya Jane Coles and Mark E, plus Lawson, jozif and Raper (everyone who was meant to play the canceled event from earlier this year).
